Lu Dowell established LDR in 1986 and she has built a successful company which is well known and respected in the industry. Prior to establishing LDR, Lu Dowell had 10 years experience in Airline Marketing and Human Resources.

Heidi has 5 years previous experience at leading inbound destination management companies in South Africa. Heidi also has a further 3 years background in public relations and operations at a hotel and a private charter company.

Heidi joined LDR in 2004 and has been focusing on the Sales and Marketing and PR activities for incentives as well as supervising the wholesale marketing activities. Heidi is responsible for New Business development, contracts negotiation with DMC’ partners and researching new products.

Hermina has 9 years experience in the airline industry, of which she was with Border Air (sister company to Lu Dowell Representations) for the past 3 years as Reservations and then Sales Executive.

She joined LDR in March 2011 and is responsible for Sales and Marketing activities.

Pia has a Tourism Management Diploma and started her career at a leading incentive house where she worked for three years. She moved away from the industry for a period and recently returned to rekindle her passion for travel.

She joined the team at LDR to take up a position as a sales and marketing executive. Based on her previous experience and understanding from a client perspective, she will focus largely on our MICE clients.

Kathy looks after new business development and marketing for LDR’s Mauritius Incentive Connection (MIC).

A consortium consisting of ten major hotels, one production company (Impact Production Company) and one DMC namely Connections DMC Mauritius.
